The White House

Here is an exterior architectural visualisation originally created in 2020 (left) and revisited in 2022 (right).

The original image was lit using a basic sun and dome setup. When revisiting the scene, I introduced an HDRI-based lighting approach to create stronger contrast, more natural reflections, and a greater sense of atmosphere. This change alone significantly increased the depth and realism of the image, making the space feel more alive.

Additional interior lighting, pathway lights, and pool lights were added to enhance realism and guide the eye through the scene. Subtle adjustments to the camera angle helped avoid visual distortion from the pool edge while maintaining the original focal length. The inclusion of people was intended to give the space a lived-in quality and better communicate scale.

This update reflects both technical and artistic growth, demonstrating how relatively small, considered changes in lighting and composition can dramatically improve the final result.
